For the last couple of weeks Scott has been complaining about the stresses of running a development shop, lack of sleep, lack of time, you name it. At the same time Brecht is talking about embarking on a year (multi-year?) nomadic voyage through the states with his wife, three kids, and a dog.
In this episode we talk through how Scott is re-jiggering his time management and Brecht updates us on his plans for running his business on the road.
The point is, we are not trapped in whatever job we think we have. We have the opportunity to shape the work into something that serves our needs.
Take a look at what you are doing, maybe apply some additional constraints, and see if you can morph your work into something that suits you better.
